| Curaçao
is the least known of the ABC islands (Aruba,
Bonaire, Curaçao).
The
island is located between Aruba and Bonaire
in the Caribbean Sea, some 60 km (38 miles)
from Venezuela. It is the biggest island of
the Netherlands Antilles with 444 Km2 (171 square
miles).
Southeast
of Curaçao is “Little Curaçao”
a 2,5 km (1,55 miles) long deserted island with
a lighthouse.
Curaçao
enjoys the typical tropical weather, with year
round sunshine and a refreshing breeze that
comes from the Northeast.
The
average yearly temperature is 27.5°C (81.5°F).
