Herode, an old historian
and Greek traveler, once wrote about Egypt as
"The Gift of the Nile". Egypt is known
for the pyramids, the Sphinx, Luxor, and the Nile.
The pharoes, the Greeks, the Romans, the Arabs,
the Turks and the British have governed Egypt
at one time and
each has left their mark.
Mud and brick villas are located at the
edge of the ruins. The locals that work the land
still use the same tools as their predecessors.
They wear long clothes that cover their entire
body.
Cairo the capital is an overpopulated city that
suffers from chaotic traffic, where you can find
cars of last generation as well as donkey towed
carts. Street vendors and the sounds of people
praying in mosques flood the city.
The country is filled with amazing treasures.
The incredible tombs of the pharoes, the pyramids
and the temple of Luxor. Also one can enjoy camel
rides through the desert, visit old Cairo, bathe
in the warm waters of Sharm El-Sheikh and Dahab
or eat some Egyptian cuisine on top of beautiful
carpets and pillows by the shores of the Red Sea.
Sharm

68°F) and hot and humid in the summer (40°C,

warm.
