Thousands of tourists from all over the world visit Florida in the USA, to enjoy the attractions this state has to offer - white sandy beaches with beautiful palm trees, warm, crystal clear waters and fantastic diving, excellent hotels and resorts, a variety of restaurants for every taste, art, entertainment, sports and specially water sports.

Palm Beach is famous worldwide for being home of the rich and famous. A ride along A1A shows beautiful beaches, wealthy mansions, expensive cars and the most exclusive restaurants.

Fort Lauderdale is an area of almost 40 km (25 miles) of beaches, 500 km (310 miles) of navigable channels with 123 bridges, a system of water taxis that brings to mind the magic Venice, entertainment, cultural attractions and tours.

Miami, which was once the exclusive vacation destination for the rich and famous is now a metropolis dedicated to business, travel and a variety of cultures with music, entertainment and exotic dishes of their own. Nowadays it is an important touristy and recreational destination.

The Florida Keys form a 200 island archipelago, which is the extension of Florida characterized for the typical formation of arches. They extend from Northeast to Southwest, with a length of 213 km (132 miles) Subtropical vegetation and favorable climatic conditions are attributed to their geographical location along the Florida Bank, which canalizes the warm waters of the Gulf Stream.

A total of 34 islands are connected through 42 bridges which make up the famous US Highway N1. Some 1,200 km (745 miles) of it are marked with “Mile Makers”, which are a key for orientation between Keys. Key Large downtown area is located on Mile Maker N 100.
